Brighton House

A grand piano in a room with sheer curtains and a subtle velvet trim detail – what a sophisticated and elegant space for entertaining!

The decision to use velvet trim only along the vertical edges of the curtains added definition and a subtle sense of richness to the design. This simple detail draws the eye upwards, helping to visually elongate the room while complementing the grandeur of the piano and the surrounding décor.

The sheerness of the curtains from James Dunlop Kyoto Salt with 20mm velvet trims from Christian Fischbacker - Visconte 3 achieved that perfect balance of letting in lovely natural light while still offering privacy, especially in a space where our client enjoys having friends over and the "strict no red wine policy" – a wise decision to protect such a beautiful setting!

Beautiful Vanda lux curtain tracks in ‘Riverstone’ colour provided harmony and worked very well with the black velvet trims.

This carefully curated room, is truly the heart of this home – a place for music, friendship and elegant gatherings.
