This Albert Park home underwent a complete renovation, including a substantial rear extension that created a seamless connection between the original Victorian character and contemporary family living. The result was a considered blend of old and new, retaining the charm of the existing home while introducing a fresh, modern approach to the way our clients live.

The aim was to create relaxed tones and use natural fabrics for the window furnishings that wonderfully bridge the old and new elements of the house. Selected Mokum fabrics a fantastic choice to achieve those desired natural tones while still maintaining a sense of formality and quality.

The full-height curtains were designed to accentuate the impressive 3.3m-plus ceilings, drawing the eye upwards and creating a real sense of drama and elegance. At the same time, the generous fabric added softness, warmth and a feeling of cosiness to the rooms.

Automated roller blinds with Somfy motors were installed in the kids' rooms to bring a touch of modern sophistication and practicality. It offered ease of use and a sleek, uncluttered look.
